Think Nanks now carries a permanent finger injury.Could not take a mark to save himsel.
Definitely effecting his marking abilities and not sure they’re going to improve if the finger isn’t better after 6 weeks off

Na, he's a warrior but he's done. The problem is Ryan is not ready to play as the No.1 ruck. Soldo is injury prone and has never regained form, after the shove. But i'd play Soldo in front of Nank every time, Nank is no longer the future.not too worried about Nank, first game back. We have other problems.
Disagree. Think he’s a major part of our problems. Can’t influence clearance and has been poor around the ground.not too worried about Nank, first game back. We have other problems.
Agree - no point recruiting clearance players if we haven’t got a ruck to give it to them. I’d be up to trade Nankervis if we had a decent offer.Na, he's a warrior but he's done. Only beaten once in final which is incredible as a severely undersized ruck, huge tiger legend. But we need to look to the future.
Well, if he can't mark (finger injury) and he can't jump (ankle injuries) then why keep selecting him? Because he's a co-captain? Never liked that idea either. Been a great premiership player for us but time for him to ride off into the sunset, along with Dion, Jack, Cotch who are all Tiger legends.I was watching the ruck set up last night. It didn't work anywhere near as well as last week. Nank was terrible up forward as well.
Not sure what the answer is.
Out performed plenty of our other players last night so I'm guessing probably half our players weren't right n shouldn't have played.Leadership is sometimes knowing when to put your hand up and say you're not right. Based on last night, he wasn't right and shouldn't have played.
Really disappoints me the potting of Nanks. First game back but he outplayed Draper in the first half. In fact, in the whole game, he had 7 hitouts to advantage, Draper only 5. Efficient disposal 13 to 10, tackles 6 to 0, score involvements 4 to 3. Pressure acts, according to the Sun, 48 to 6. And only played 72% game time to 86%. The guy's first game back in 6 weeks, dropped a couple of marks he'd normally take, a bit underdone so petered out. Totally expected.Disagree. Think he’s a major part of our problems. Can’t influence clearance and has been poor around the ground.
I thought he was one of the few busting his gut , yes he did look a tad rusty which is fair enough , however thought he influenced us in a positive , still our clear starting ruck imho .
Just had a look at the stats , nearly got a 100 points , not bad first up for a Ruck
Decent offer?Agree - no point recruiting clearance players if we haven’t got a ruck to give it to them. I’d be up to trade Nankervis if we had a decent offer.
Yep, no where near what Chimp has showed over the years.Nank did fine but this thing of bringing the 'champs' straight back into the 1sts is a little questionable ..
as far as being a 'co-captain' - i've rarely seen Nank or Grimes get around the younger players in support
perfect example last night when Mansell missed.. why not get over to him, chill him out a bit before the kick, that's leadership .. innit?
Nank and Grimes are great footballers, but perhaps they're lieutenants, not generals
