In yesterday's game there should be two suspensions - Stringer for the sneaky punch during a push and shove (not a jumper punch at all like the commentators said) and Merrett for a sling tackle on Liberatore. Both should miss week one next year.........but of course they wont.

-can’t compare with Neales incident

-his action now has me not defending him anymore of late. No respect for him. Thought he had turned the corner with his role as captain but Cogs comes back in and Toby back to his terrible shelf.
- will it cost Toby more
-had forgotten the incident of the nightclub ..

Just my final word and please don’t think I’m trying to defend Toby but Stevic shouldn’t have been near the vacinity of the GWS players. The umpires as I’ve seen on numerous occasions( any level ) walk together and away from both teams players. Stevic is an experienced umpire. Could have defused any likely situation that could have arisen.

Over the years one has seen quite a lot inane actions by players in the AFL but this latest by Toby takes the cake. Toby is not just a new kid on the block but into his 10th season & with a track record of indiscretions. The Giants led by upstanding coach Leon Cameron players Davis ,De Boer,Taranto,Ward,Haynes & Mummy to name a few hold their head up high week in week out yet this suffocating pompous brain dead twit must frustrate them no end. Trade him to Lol Norf but doubt if Lol Norf would put out the welcome mat.

I have to say though, Carman head-butting an umpire takes more cake, possibly the whole cake shop.

Bloody hell. Carrying on like this is a murder case. Quite obvious he'll get suspended as there seems to be no twist in the evidence. I'd say 2-3 weeks.
Huge contrast in both QCs views. This seems more based on protecting the flogs than what Toby actually did.
Gleeson wants no less than 6 weeks and Ihle wants a fine. I'm not sure how this incident shows aggressive or demonstrative. Disrespectful yes, but not those other two, even going by what Stevic said.

of course, one is prosecuting him and one is defending him.
