This is the comeback whenever anyone says Cotchin should have missed the 2017 GF for the collision with Shiel. Can the decision be protested? Selwood isn’t looking at the ball, he’s hit the bloke in the head with an elbow, and there is no duty of care whatsoever.

I just find it ludicrous that a player at another club can bump the sacrilegious head ,causing a bloody eye , yet walk away with only a fine as well. FFS this system is such an embarrassment to our once great game .

Agree. If these 'incidents' (are they anyway?) actually injured a flog, OK. But they don't!! Greedy bastards.

Did Anderson push Cotchin into the umpire? I can’t see where Cotchin was named as the player pushed.
If this is correct then Cotchin as the victim is being punished here. How can the AFL justify this crap? ( I know, they don’t justify anything)

Would have to be two separate incidents. There was another example earlier in the year (can't remember which teams and players) but only the pushing player was fined.

It's confusing as both fines result from incidents in the same quarter.
