Positives
As a big fan of Baker (star) and Aarts I am wrapt. Stack worked into the game nicely. Pickett is gonna have a big year. Rioli had a good quarter. Shai had some nice touches.

Negatives
Ross - still yet to see what all the fuss from many is about. Naish the same.
Short is on shakey ground. Don't have him in my best 22.
 
Treloars hammy went ping.

What I saw was real good. Take away the second/third string tall forwards replace with the real thing, in comes the engine and running back. all good.
 
Agree with others. Ross has lost too much weight and didnt notice any improved endurance/stamina. At least last year he was a bull in the middle.

Ross was fine. Worked himself into the game. CCJ was fine, did some nice things and not allowed to touch Cox.

RCD I'm not convinced but still has time. Chol, I don't know why we kept him. He's simply not going to make it. Either lazy or clueless, so many times behind his opponent. Bottom line it was a practice match and a lot of youngsters playing the last part of the game.

You forgot to mention Molloy & Obree.
Flk them its a bullshiit practice match.
They won it but have treloar and Reid injured again.
Not sue what you expected, we were without Dusty and Ellis

Interesting. Only 4 of those 6 finished top 10 in their B&F. 1,2,6 and 8. We had far more talent out. Next game will be more representative but it's still just a practise match.
 
Nothing to worry about. Six out, hot day, windy day. Scrappy game. Got jumped in the first 10, got jumped in the last 10.

Baker real good, Stack off, Pickett ok. Without Grimes and Vlastuin it would have got much uglier. Stars.

With his history of hamstring tears another today is significant could be a 4 week mandatory rest he'll be a chance to miss the first 2 rounds if its a decent enough injury.
 
Aartsy will be another one to watch in his 2nd season of the seniors list.

Didn't watch the match but going by this thread we're screwed. Club seems to have rested on it's laurels rather than recruit some gun players. Our kids are useless on their own. Losing Blake will seriously hurt us.

By all accounts this years draft is a very good one so we should seriously consider doing what's best for the clubs future rather than limp into a top 4 finish and luckily draw an interstate club for our 2020 Premiership. It'll mean nothing.

We miss Bellis run and carry today, things not good at PRO.

Balta got beaten by Cox and struggled when the ball,was on the ground. Moved forward in the last qtr but didn’t touch it.

Garth played on Brody Miochek and was just ok. Kicks it sideways too often
