Marsh 1 v Collingwood

BF says 20-30 on the frees.

We have to be more than prepared for games against this flog-loving mob.

RCD, Naish, Higgo, Chol & CCJ all had very ordinary games. Dow shows more than any of our 2nd year players apart from Stack

Almost like we’re practicing defensive transition.

Exactly,

We are in the business of winning premierships not trial matches. We would be trialling lots of things other than players.

We're taking the game to the next level. Big picture stuff.

Lol, cream it next week with our full team back and all of a sudden we're happy again. FMD!

Rinse repeat. Lol

nah I thought it for a long time. Momentum killer with his goal kicking and runs around like a headless chook
Could be those 2 premiership medals around his neck that are throwing off his balance....

You can make plenty of excuses ... just a praccy game etc. But that was rubbish. Just a couple of aspects: killed in the air and allowed opp to move the ball downfield so easily, pass after pass to a leading pie running into space.
Yes, game means little except - how do we really go without 6 of our stars? We were rubbish, hardly anyone turned up last Q.

One more ob: Aarts looked much hungrier than Bolton or Rioli.

Get some work in the legs was important. How was Balta and Garth.Cholly needs to be more consistent games goes past him.

That was no more than a jumpout along Caulfield's back straight. But I expected more of our U22 squad.

Higgo got to the right spots early and will get better opportunities when the A team returns.

Baker has improved again.

And Dow looks smart.

Watched the game with interest to see who I thought would be a shining star.

To be honest I did not see anything or anybody that got me excited today.

As for the umpires, just what we expect for Collingwood, who top the list for frees every year.

Only a praccy game but we were pretty ordinary. We sure missed our 6 best players, especially up front.

Collingwood love recruiting talls.
Cameron adds to the list talls they have picked up over the years.
Having a player capable of taking a mark to release the pressure its very important in today's game.
Hopefully CJ can be that player for us.
Not convinced on Carthwaite Balta and chol.

Yeah take anyone's best six I wonder how they would be bit of perpective. Its a practice game to get a workout and try things simple as that.

Adams got caught with the ball 4 times after half time with all called play on.
Aarts was squashed in the foward line for no free kick.
Its hard to explain how the umpires don't think its a free.

Baker our best.

Pickett good early, Stack good late. Grimes Vlas Dave Broad all good.

Aarts and Dow showed glimpses for the future.

Ross has slimmed down too much. Was being pushed around in the clinches. His strength last year was his strength over tge ball. RCD disappointing.

Our pressure and intensity was low. Hope the pies over handball like today when our pressure is up.

Oh and the umps are a joke.
