I'm having fun thinking about what footy historians will think of the Tigers this year.
They will look at our listed defenders and their jaws will drop:

Convoy through Albury, up the Hume to the Pacific Motorway, camp out in eZy's top paddock, stand-up paddleboard up the coast to the Brisbane River. Smash and grab post game at the Breakfast Creek Hotel, then back to Byron for post-premiership fortnight.

3 out of 4 games (top 4 team that lose first week)
4 out of 4 games (5th to 8th placed teams)
In the last 20 games, Richmond have won 4 out of 5 games at a % of 133%. (this includes last year's final series). (15.5 wins)
The other contenders over their last 20 games have won only around 2 out of 3 games. (13 or 14 wins.)
We definitely still have the best form, but this will be offset by Brisbane, Port and West Coast getting home finals. Port in Adelaide, WC in Perth will be tough assignments. They have great opportunity this year. Would help us significantly if Port and West Coast drop games on the run home.

Was waiting online to watch the BIG announcement.... for 15 minutes prior to the chief coming up to the lectern they had the mike live and you could hear whoever was there whispering amongst themselves.... gee lotta people don't like a lotta other people.

If we get a choice, I reckon we will choose Metricon over Gabba for our games.
I reckon WC and Geelong will select Adelaide oval if they get to choose the venue against us. Brisbane will get home games at Gabba, Port at Adelaide Oval.
Of all the finals venues, I think the narrow adelaide oval is our least preferred venue.
