Luke McGuane

Some love coming out here.

I seem to recall a certain A.MAric making a huge tackling and being hailed a god for about a week. Then his wax wings melted.

Seriously though, great to see Luke get acknowledged for that effort.

Lets all hope it is the start of something for him.

Bit harsh, most of us were on the McGun bandwagon before the game. There is plenty of room, by the way.

Thought Luke was OK tonight, even without the big tackle. Got his body in the right place for plenty of crucial contests and brought the ball to ground. In all honesty, I think he's well in front of the next best option.

You know, since PRE dubbed him McGun, he's become a different player. He's risen to the
lofty heights his nickname demands.

Thought he was competitive and earned his keep and finally won the match with the tackle

Took some very good marks tonight.

Should have kicked that goal at the end but its McGun....

The positive Luke McGuane thread

After ~2,000 odd pages of damnation, it is time for a happy muscles place.

I love the McGun.

I loved the tackle.

I even liked him in the forward line.

Line in the sand game. Wider than the Mississippi.

Wasn't meant to be harsh, but come on. I'll accept it if you were on the McGuane bandwagon before the game, but I don't think the majority were.

Serviceable game - played on an average kid in Bootsma and got some ball so well done.
The tackle was a great moment for him personally so that is great to see.
