Be a sight to see Muscles walk up to the podium to receive his premiership medallion. :cupgold

Then you wake up.

McGuane and premierships are mutually exclusive.

Just like Knights, Richo, Campbell, J.Bowden n premierships are mutually exclusive. Or Yaaabbllleeeettttt, Hocking, Couch etc etc n premierships are mutually exclusive.
Can guarantee every premiership side in history has at least one knowledgable supporters classic Nuffer in the team, plenty have more than one. There's also a few absolute champions barely made finals never mind winning a flag.

Think you missed his point. But no doubt it's a shame to see some champions never experience a pemiership.

Your point is true. Daryl Freame is a Richmond premiership player, yet Richo isn't.

My point is if Richmond have to play McGuane as a key position forward (for whatever reason), then I suggest finals are out of reach, let alone premierships - they're a million miles away.

The perfect fit for McGuane is captain of our standalone 2nds next year, with no chance of EVER playing in the senior team.

That's the point - the real world ain't perfect.

Not sure how that works DDT? Astbury players back. McGuane forward.

Astbury won't play back unless he's covering injuries to Chaplin Rance grimes or Griffiths
Which would be ironic given that astute is frequently injured too.

Nope his only place is forward hanging around Riewoldt and vickery. If mcguane is kicking goals it makes it hard for astu.
Astys last few games have been predominantly as forward I'm quite sure

No defence hence my question.

I think Luke is super important to our immediate future.............he's moving in with Dusty ;D

Damn right. Hope he's like that pony who settled Black Caviar's nerves in England

yeah but with Rance Grimes Chaplin and Griff available, where do you think Astbury is going to get a game?

Defence or Forward alongside Riewoldt and Vickery?

Astbury is injured atm anyway. Think it will be a while before we see him again inthe 1s as I am sure once back from injury in a few weeks he will need to find form via Coburg.

Serious?

You just know one night it will be McCalamity's turn to cook andwhile serving he will trip over a worn piece of rug and and stab Dusty in the eye with a kebab skewer.

And Brodders will blame Dusty

Perfect fit at the moment is for Luke to play as our third mobile tall. He's a far better option at the moment than A. Edwards, Elton John or any other limited tall forwards we may have roaming around.
Was dragged back from virtual oblivion last year to play an unsuited key role in support of Jaaack and toiled honestly. If both KPP in Jaaack n Swish perform their jobs then, clumsy clangers included Lukes more than capable of playing a support role.

Not about where I think he will play. It is about where he has been playing and training in the off season. If all are fit I suspect one of the 5 will be playing at Coburg. It's called depth.

Attack is defense under dimma.

With mcguane and king, you have two blokes who'd rather spread your face over the advertising hoardings than cut you an even break.

These guys are paid to be blunt instruments and it suits dimmas plan to play the game on an auskick sized footy oval -- our forward 50.

These guys should see us into our first finals campaign, but won't be around next year.

From the stinking larvae comes the purest silk, when free agents and developing recruits -- proper forwards -- tread a battlefield where the hard work's been done.

Kingy, our 2014 forward coach, will be a rugged taskmaster.

If it rains I would definitely play Luke up forward. Provides good forward pressure & is a strong mark. Kicks it straight in the rain too importantly.
His errors will also be less noticeable in the wet. ;D
