BOOKMARK!!!!

No chance, no way. Vickery will kick more than McGuane.
I have stuck my neck out here just waiting for it to be chopped off at seasons end. But I will keep the faith. ;D

Power to you smokin. Personally, even if he has a dream season as a crash bash 2/3 string fwd, all the stars align for him, I can't see him getting more than 30. We'll see

Lets see about that one
In 2012-

Vickery 9 games 41 kicks 21 marks 21 tackles 7 goals 5 behinds
McGuane 9 games 53 kick 31 marks 31 tackles 15 goals 10 behinds

In 2013 I think McGuane will kick more goals than Vickery

Woohoo Lace out versus Swish in the battle of the bean pole second string forwards. Let the shoot out begin.

I'll be happy if both of them simply perform their team roles well. But Swish better keep an eye out or he'll have Lukey as well as Jaaack standing on his head at some time during the season.

Always good for a chuckle.
Will file this away to watch when I am having a bad day :)

In both cases he had a player in a better position and both times he ignored them.
He won't last long if that was to occur again.

P.s. I rather have him play then Edwards

Presume you mean Aaron in which case I agree.

Very good guess. How the hell did they trade for him is unbelievable. Miller will look like GAblett compared to him

we all know his stumbles and bumbles...but he always provides a contest and on the foward line will pressure many a backman..if he can be a headache for the oppositiion and get 2 or 3 goals a game then he has done his job very well....who know..but 40 plus goals this year would be extremley brillinat for our 3rd tall...

Pfft. Busted shoulder half the year and if Vickery is fit the entire year McGuane is gone.

Fools gold if ever I've seen it. He is what he is.

Hope he does. 2 players besides Reiwoldt kicking 40+ goals in a season would be a great result.

On preseason form you'ld have to give the 2nd tall title to McGun. Plasma is a distant third at the moment.

Why?
Jaack n Swish as the designated one two tall forwards cop all the heat and allow Laceout as the third tall to sneak under the radar.
Alternatively Laceout rampages around crashing packs n providing crumbs for our small forwards.
Alternatively some more Laceout simply provides a third tall well spaced option which keeps the defenders honest and allows Jaaack n Swish to compete one out.
Think that if all three perform their roles adequately then there's not really a designation of who is the one, two or three title relevant. It simply becomes a dangerous, flexible forward line.
Plenty of people were happy to bag Swish for average form over the pre season, especially after the Doggies game. Both Swish n Jaaack struggled to hold a mark but both contested the incoming plus chased and harrassed the defenders and worked hard for little return.
Pretty sure Swish isn't all that far off providing enough solid footy to create problems for opposition coaches.

Sneak under the radar?
You're selling the work Luke does up forward short.
He didn't get his 15 goals at the end of last year with Vickery there. TV went out of the side in round 11 and Luke assumed the KPF role in round 15.
Sure some will bleat he kicked his goals against poor sides but he kicked them and he kicked them again on the weekend ironically when an ineffectual Vickery left the forward line.

Perhaps if McGuane takes some of the heat, Vickery might sneak a few goals. :p
