Luke McGuane

He is one of three players who are working their way into the team for round 1- McGuane, Pettard and Vlastuin.

He is an embarrassing footballer and a liability and should have been delisted 4 years ago.

Re spoiling I wouldnt say he is a great spoiler in fact id say hes sh!those at it if he was so good hed still be in defence.

Shocking reader of the play not to mention unco hence why he gives away so many goals from stupid free kicks over the years.

Not a patch on Thursty or Grimes as a spoiler.

No other club rates him either hence no ones gone anywhere near him past 3 or 4 trade periods when hes been up for grabs especially clubs such as GWS and GCS who are desperate for depth in key defence positions yet they take Warnock and Thornton and even that other super dud in Tom Murphy, but not ol Calamity.

One of the poster children of why this club has been a laughing stock over the years.

I can't stand pussyfooting posters like you Craig. Get to the point please! What do you think of McGawn?!!!!

I think it's Luke's spot to lose right now *sound of internet exploding*

Thought Luke played well yesterday kicked a couple of goals, took some contested marks and applied plenty of defensive pressure
Its great to see hes giving it 110%

Yeah, particularly late in the game when it was up for grabs. McGuane had the chance to win the gane after a long bomb deep into our forward line. The next bit confirmed it - the ball hit him flush on the nose!!

Git rid of this useless list clogger! If this dud lines up round 1 we can't win. There are 30 players on our list for selection in the best 22 ahead of this bloke.

Had a good game IMO. Muscles brings energy to a forward line that often looks very static. A lock for round one atm.

You're kidding?? The only thing he brings to the forward line is confusion.

Guess you might as well stay home for round 1 then. Hate to see you pay good money to watch Luke lose the game for us.

I'll be going because I have faith in the selection committee's ability to recognise what a waste of space he is.

:hihi He's lining up for his 8th season at the Tigers. Bit late to be having faith in their ability to recognise this.

He's getting a game up forward because he's the best pack mark we've got. We really lack a physical brute who can crash a pack.

Not sure where you get this view from. His only (and I stress ONLY) redeeming feature is the ability to spoil in defence.
Rance, Grimes and Chaplin are the first choice talls in defence. SURELY, the time has come for Griffiths to move to the forward line with Vickery as the other talls assisting Jack.

Should any of the 1st choice defensive talls become unavailable then Batchelor, Astbury, even young McIntosh would be options in front of McGuane. I honestly cannot believe people who have the best interests of the RFC can possibly have this dud anywhere near our best 22.

I said we lack one. McGuane's about the most physical aerialist we have though.

I'd say Jack wins that one hands down.

For a forward, McGun doesn't present enough and is too messy.

Takes a better specky for sure but that's not what I said.
I want a guy who's not afraid to play in the traffic and despite some of his other shortcomings Luke's very hard at the ball in a pack situation.
I don't expect you to agree.

He is our current 3rd tall by a long way it's not funny.
He is not the best player in the world but he does have a go.
Lets hope for Craig that he is not on the list for next year.
