I was thinking how i would reply to this thread and you covered it perfectly for me thanks, Cloke every time his contract comes up the same thing happens, last one didn't daddy come out and say he may leave if he didn.t get what he wants
Pretty sure there was some dribble about Esserdum making a last minute offer for him. Hope he stays at Scumwood and just continues to play crap footy for way to many dollars.

x 3 Leopards dont change theyre spots. Makes too many mistakes for the type of footy that's played now.
Belongs in the 60's/&70's era where mistakes didnt always penalise your side.

McGuanes imporovement has been good for him and the club. 12 months ago we couldn't give him with a draft pick thrown in. Now he'd be a benefit to us as a forward or good for us to trade. Plenty of time left to make a decent career as a forward too. he was forward as a a junior.

Clearly he can get rattled when he's excited sometimes though.

I reckon there will be some pretty disappointed folks around these parts when Muscles stays on the list for 2013

Not me! Love his tackling and his knee jumps into packs.
He snapped hurleys ribs on Friday night, with a bone smashing tackle! Love it!
There are so many in front him it's not funny, Moore, webberly, white, Derrickx, Conners, McDonald, graham, browne,
8, rookies miller, Maric Make it 10 new faces next year!

Pretty depressing post Zips. Our depth still sucks.

If RFC think we have the depth next year in our bigs then let him go if not sign him for another year or 2 just for some kind of depth. So if we cop a long list of injuries to our talls then at least we have someone who isnt an 18 year old raw big who just can't compete. He can crash and bash and kick a few against the ordinary sides.

i reckon the opposite. we need to play our young KP players more. look post has been around a few years and how many games has he played, not many. maybe he wasnt ready, but he hasnt been given a decent run of games in one position other than this year. derickx hasnt been given enough games to see what he can or cant do either (like miller was). we have griffo, astbury, been there a cuople of years. now elton too.

if JR TV and say griffo go down, our season is shot anyway. so whats the use of then playing maguane instead of giving one or two of the above a long run of games.....i see no benefit long term of playing maguane he wont get us to a premiership, but i do see a benefit long term of playing post/astbury/griff/elton etc etc......at some point u gotta bite the bullet and play the kids

I'm trying to work out whether that's a good or a bad thing.
Its a good thing. Anyone who wants to trade for a member of the QLD TOTY needs to swap a first rounder!

QLD TOTY on the back of half a dozen senior games. Sounds like QLD footy considers itself fortunate to have enough players to make a team.
