Luke McGuane

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

A shame about soon to be suspension for Luke. Has played soundly over the last 2 weeks. He beat Riewoldt. Riewoldt did his usual thing of marking up the field which never helps saints. Nick looks great with his athletic gut running marks on the wing but does that really hurt the opposition? I dont think so. When the ball was in his forward line, Luke did well.
Also can we not have muppets who begin to question a second year player Astbury. He will be a fine player for us. Key position player second year. Don't jump the gun again richmond supporters.

Second year blues. I'm surprised people are still surprised by it.

Not sure why. For a KPP I'm was surprised Astbury was so good in his first year.

What I'm disappointed about is that Post has seemingly gone beyond having 2nd year blues and is apparently struggling again.
Really would like to see him step it up. Gourdis too is not thrilling me.

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

may sound weird but probably the last guy you'd want to lose for this weeks game.

Luke 'Muscles' McGuane

*massive bump*

The people demanded the selection of fan favorite, Luke McGaune, and their prayers have been answered. The McGuane farce has ended.

My guess is he's going to play defensive forward, to chase, tackle and create a contest. The question is can he stay out of Jack's way?

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

welcome back Lukey.

just give 100%, frighten the crap out of Watts and we will all be happy.

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

Prefer Luke in the fwd line. Turnovers are not too damaging. Also capable of locking the ball in with Push Up on the sidelines.

Melbourne go through Watts a lot and he likes to get out on his own. Luke needs to make him accountable.

I'd rather he free Jack up a bit by laying a few of those big McGuane shirt-fronts on Chip Frawley!
Hope he can kick a couple too!

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

Hopefully he has spent his time at Coburg refining his skills.

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

He's back from the dead!

Muscles to kick 2.6

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

If he apply the same pressure as he did when I watched him play for Coburg a few weeks back then I will be happy. His kicking for goal is not great but he does know to get into the right spots.

Good luck Luke.

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

I want to see him make Watts cry.

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

good selection i reckon. with so many players out this week its the perfect time to play someone who's on his last chance and has a lot to prove. no doubt luke will be fired up for tomorrow and hungry for the contest... which suits us fine as we have a lot more to play for than melbourne.

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

Watts the bet that he gets reported for accidentally knocking out Jack somewhere into next week?
