Which of Astbury, Griffiths or Elton will play as many games as Lucky Luke?

Which of Matt Arnot, Brad Helbig, Matt McDonough or Kamdyn McIntosh will be good enough to play as many games as Richard Tamblings 124. :spin

Wait, people think McGuane was worth persevering with?

Classic PRE, defend the club on everything then have little snide backhanders when a favourite is allowed to walk.

Not sure that's the case SCOOP, more just wishing him luck & saying he showed 100% commitment to the cause.
Limited footballer but no doubting his courage.

Will be easily replaced by a superior Mc. ;D

Not sure. First task would be to surpass the career efforts of Andy Collins (36) and Danny Meyer (26). Babysteps. ;D

I think Anfield has called it right, you appear to be misreading the comments Scoop. I can't see where any of the recent posts are saying that 'McGuane should have been persevered with'. And if they were, how would that be 'defending the club' - seeing as the club did the opposite to what you think the latter posters are saying.

No worries, :D he's gone and there is a now a new brigade that will easily fill his shoes - while in the past there wasn't.

I've had a quick squizz through the previous pages but haven't noticed the calls that we should have persevered with Luke. Who exactly are you referring in regards to "classic PRE".

No doubt he correct decision to let lace out go, however I hope he does bloody well an eks out a couple of decent seasons for Leppa....never one of my faves but could never ever question his desire to do his job...

Congrats Luke on your time in the AFL as a tiger

Don't have the confidence Luke will have the impact Jay did at Port but reckon he'll go ok up forward at Brisbane. You never know how guys will go when they return to their home State.

I was happy to keep luke on, or persevere, but Hampson's recruiting ended that. Injuries aside Vickery Riewoldt Hampson & Maric gives us a very competitive ruck/fwd combo. Then there is Stephenson.

There is also Elton McBean Griffiths Astbury to get time in the key positions.

Luke would have been aware of this when his management contacted Brisbane.

Sorry Dave, leysy Tambling games played post was more commenting on the irrelavence of Tooheys quoting games played as any sort of measure. Especially battling role players in the sub-standard teams we've put out over many of the past 10 years. Leysy's grandmother would have made most of those sides. She's barely make emergency now.

For the umpteenth time Foxtel have just replayed Round 1.
That was a great tackle by Luke on Bootsma in the last minute. Made the win a certainty.
Hope he gets a similar chance to help Brisbane to a win - just not against us.

If that tackle didn't stick Carlton were out on the wing.
There were 2 Carlton players on their own and there was enough time for them to score
