Luke McGuane

Thanks Muscles. Took some great pack marks, kicked some clutch goals and throw in a match saving tackle. Will be watching The Lions with more interest next year. Never died wondering.

Yep thanks Muscles. All you can ever ask of someone is to give all you have and Luke did that. Thought he was much better up forward this year. 105 games in the yellow and black is 105 games more than me and 99.99% of the keyboard warriors on this forum.

Spot on!

I don't think he'll be missed on the field, an extremely limited footballer who was lucky to play 100+ games and is equally lucky to have his career extended at a second club. However I hope he doesn't injure of his former team mates when we play Brisbane with his kamikaze attack on the contest.

Reckon most of those warriors would be seriously pissed n jealous that " spuds " the likes of Muscles n Whitey got to play even one game for the mighty Tiges.

Definitely not superstar players but honest toilers who put everything they had into the team, congratulations n well done to Muscles n Whitey, Nacho n all the other players that pulled on the yellow n black for us.

That list of players to wore the yellow & black over the last 30 years, that didn't really deserve to could run as long as the Hume highway

Good bloke that he is and I am happy that his career has been extended, but, in my humble opinion, McGuane won't be any loss to the Tigers in a playing sense. I just could never imagine the Tigers being serious contenders with the likes of McGuane getting a regular game.

Bit of both your point and Baloo's I think. Luke was lucky to arrive at the club at the right time and he made it work for him with his fanatical attack on the contest and never say die attitude.
