Luke McGuane

His defensive pressure is elite for a tall forward, evenif he wasn't kicking goals he would be keeping his spot.

However umpires hate him, hate, that free kick for sheparding on the goal line doesn't get paid 99 times out of 100.
 
He is going very well. His marking has gone to the next level. Still prone to horrible clangers and brain fades but is no doubt earning his keep.

Not sure about the value in kicking it to him in the forward pocket though. Very low percentage chance of a goal from there.
 
wow..he just get better by the week..luke was sensational today and has made a MASSIVE difference to our form turn around this year...today was luke,s best ever game i reckon..he was just fabulous...well done luke
 
Just keeps attacking and presenting. Leads hard demanding the ball, if he doesn't hold the mark or is spoiled he fights damn hard to keep it. Great to see his efforts

Unfortunately for Watts talking won't help him grow a heart. How bloody hard is Luke working now? Great to see.
 
Its going to take time for him to get comfy in front of goal but it is a new position for him and that being the case what he has shown is remarkable. He makes the contest, gets the mark or influences the play and now he is slotting them consistently. Well done to Lukey.
 
Another good game. Strong and hard at the contest,good turning circle for his size. He have a foil for Jack. Improved on last week, lowered his eyes a bit, kicking was better. Skies the limit 8-

Good point.
I have always defended McGuane and am enjoying his good form.
But I must confess that I didn't think Jackson was worth his spot but his form today was great. Well done.
