Luke McGuane

another solid games by lukey..a superb first quarter in particular..and plenty of nice footy for the rest of the game...if he just worked on his shots on goal he could be an absolute gun,,,,.....well done to him and the coaches....only 2 rounds in but already one of the highlights so far has been the re invention of luke mcguane

great game, lost a bit of toe in the second half which was disappointing.

he also missed a hook around the corner under no pressure that any park footballer would've nailed.

That miss got me angry, besides that his first 5 minutes was Carey like.
He panics

I hope you were angry at the Reiwolt miss as well which was just as simple...

What about that pack grab in the first quarter  As good as a pack mark you'll see. And then the clinical finish!! Well I never Lukey..... :hihi

He's started the year well.

And then McAvaney called him McGinnity ::) The Channel 7 commentators are off to a very ordinary start this year.

Re: Luke McGun

At approximately 8.00 pm AEST Luke McGun was leading the Coleman, all hail The Flying Pencil.

Unbelievable first quarter. Just wish he could perform like that more consistently. Only saw him lead once and kicked the goal, but we need more of it as Jack can't do everything. We've won 2 games, but the forward line still lacks stability.

Midfield looks settled
Back line looks organised
Forward looks dysfunctional

McGuane had the same number of shots on goal as Jack did. One kicked 2 goals. The other kicked 7.

I'm tired of patronising Muscles McGuane. Sure he took a big hanger. Sure he was deft on the break and centred a couple.

But he missed some crucial shots. And went quiet for a bit. Who does he think he is? Ben Griffiths?

It's time Lace-Out lifted.

Kick ten, O Flying Pencil. Or the Tiges might promote A. Edwards.

We're tired of your excuses.

me too, except im enjoying it really noisily.
I'm liking it. He's a bit like Pushup, the guys seem to feed off him doing well. He could have kicked more, but he kept up the 2 goal average. He does that every game I'll be happy with it.

I was enjoying the Luke McGuane career resurrection already, but he is exceeding my wildest expectation.

Luke was second on the team for contested possessions yesterday. Even if he wasn't kicking goals he would be doing his job. The fact that he is a semi-credible attacking forward that the opposition have to account for is fantastic.

Two weeks in a row I have been standing up a cheering after a Luke Mcguane act. I hadn't done that once in his previous 93 games.

Me too. He's starting to do other things which complement his always lauded desire and determination.
