Re: The positive Luke McGuane thread

Finally his highlight reel might get to be longer than the bloopers one....

Re: The positive Luke McGuane thread

Three pages of positivity already. It's going well. (Phantom please spell check for me)

If gets the kid Newds (whatever is his name is) on Friday night, Carey Mcguane might have a night out.

WTF. Are you pissed Zips?

Not advisable to talk about kid nudes.

Shattered the positive Luke McGuane thread has been merged with the vitriolic Luke McGuane thread.

I really thought we had turned a corner...

Bad karma. A bad game from Lukey and I will blame the moderator.

Dunno, for some the Luke McGun thread was positive. I was struggling to work out what I should post differently in the "positive" thread.

I have to admit one of the things that shocked me about Luke's tackle on Thursday night was the fact that we've gotten so used to seeing that be Luke over the years that I could hardly believe it. Any other year it's been Luke with the ball in the backline, not sure what to do, getting wrapped up in a tackle and giving up the score. If they're going to play him, leave him forward!

Carlton paid the price for a selection blunder. It is beyond me that they preferred Bootsma, who looks a long way off AFL standard, to Laidler, who offers flexibility with his ability to play on any decent forward.

I’m glad that they did though. It will be interesting to see how Malthouse develops his team over time but I think he has started with an expensive error in judgement.

All well and good but Edwards Kicked 5 on Laidler at Coburg. Maybe Mick knew waht he was doing.

Good game from Luke overall.
Kicked another couple of goals and took some great grabs including mark of the night.
Was a bit wasteful later but more effective than Vickery this week and Riewoldt stood up. It's working well with the three talls.
Keep it up McGun.

He's playing his role to perfection so far. He's bloody strong in the contest. Came out of a couple of packs with the ball tonight. I'm lovin it. On target for Smokin's 40 goal prediction. If he could improve his goalkicking a smidgeon he'd be a true weapon. As it is we all know he's gunna miss at least 1, probably 2 sodas.

Certainly making up lot happen up front TS. Some laughed that he's our best pack mark..

great game, lost a bit of toe in the second half which was disappointing.

he also missed a hook around the corner under no pressure that any park footballer would've nailed.
