Liam McBean

hahaha... yes missed the split round but surely he has to be included for remainder of year games...

People bang on about putting on bulk etc and i get that, he played in the same TAC as Joe D and they have similiar bodies, Joe is learning his craft between ones and twos and so should beanie.. Bulk will come over time, so will his player development, by not giving him a run now its hurting that and as a club we will need to wait longer..

Given our current ladder position etc absolutely no reason not to, can be acussed of playing favourites when hes has two good showing in VFL... Give him a go ASAP...

I seriously doubt that the risk averse Hardwick will take him to the west. I don't think we'll see this guy in the ones until 2015 and maybe not even then if Hardwick is still coaching us.

Unfortunately i agree with you Carn... Dont get it though!

Question is , is playing McBean at VFL better for his progress or is blooding him now at AFL better for him ? I see our pre season starting now, let's find out about some of the kids, I'd rather give Mcbean a game beside Jack an Ty at this point in front of Griffiths, no doubt he will be a tough match up for the 3rd key back, to me he an Jack are the future so let's start playin him with Jack an just maybe Grif can increase his trade value been the main key forward out of the square at VFL , as bad a season as this has been, plenty of questions can be answered in the last 7 weeks

For AFL level, does Beano have a defensive side to his game yet CC?

IMO the cemented forward line should be made up of Jaaack, Lloyd, McJesus, Shedwards (after centre bounce) and resting mid(s).

Two good games now and improving but still inconsistent and we don't need anymore inconsistent performers in the 1sts. Besides playing AFL will mean he is up against some bigger bodied and tougher backmen so I have concerns if his body is quite ready for that hammering.

Dunno if he'll be exposed to ruck. Dimma may opt for Griff or Elton.

Yep. As Elton's been the swingman in the 2nds, can we have a look in the 1sts please Dimma??
