Yep, exactly what I was thinking.
Some people just have no idea how hard it is play AFL and think any young beanstalk can knock out 15km up a wing against some of the best aerobic athletes in the country. Just let the kid evolve slowly as a 3rd tall once his ankle is ready.

Flexibility and shock value is something we now have. If jack can be given the odd sortie in the middle, how about the stalk on a wing, just a licence to push up occasionally?

Considering his light frame it might be an avenue for him to get a sniff.

Sheesh, no ones saying he's the new Robbie flower.

Personally I see mcjesus as a a flanking forward till he fills out.

Beanie for the Coleman, Brownlow, JD, Norm Smith AND Rising Star this year. Hell, he'd win the grandfinal sprint too if he didnt have to play.

I am all for the Bean being given license to roam from half-forward, but I agree with Juffa, no way he has the aerobic capacity to play on a wing, especially as he's still rehabbing from an ankle injury.

This in no way precludes the self-evident fact that we have a superstar on our hands.

Thank you Leysy. Like Juffa said, third forward to start and see what happens. The ankle issue should lower everyone's short term expectations.

Thankfully, we aren't in a spot that requires the youth to come and carry the load.

seriously though , anyone seen a price on Beanie for the rising star (edit: just rang my bookie ..... 60-1 :eek:) ? Since the lesser Reiwoldt won it in 2002, it been a mids medal, but Beanie is technically a mid trapped in a KPF body right? Could be a nice little christmas club. Jack Martin Shmartin.
 
What a scary forward match up other sides will confront if Bmac , Tv and Griffo gel one day , 3 agile 200 cm players to control and not mentioning the Hamster and Mullet providing a hand.... oh and forgot to mention Jacky boy roving off these guys .... :hihi

Vickery hasn't taken a contested mark since the under 12's.
Hampson would be the worse big man in the game
Griffo is forced to play as a defender
And jack has lost the one on one power he had when he first started.
Besides that we haven't got a true crumbler...

I'm pretty sure Miller broke 100 pages before getting a game. May have even made 100 pages before being picked up as a rookie.
