He has done a good job, but vickery should've been Ziebiel and don't forget alot of the 2nds rounders have been Howlers
Top3. Cotchin (my cat would've picked him)
Jack (good selection)
Martin/bigV (top picks)

Ziebell had the dreaded double of treacle like pace in the sprint and a lousy VO2 max. He is a bloody good footballer, but come the last quarter of a grand final Ziebell will be running on the spot while guys like Ellis will still be working both ways. Any tagger with pedestrian pace and a vague level of fitness should be able to grind him into the ground, he won't be able to run away with pace, or outwork his tag.

A good natural footballer but he has his flaws which saw him slip to North. All the commentary teams wax lyrical about Norths first round picks, but their time spent with Richmonds disease of perpetual mid table finishes has left them with a bunch of good but not great footballers. All their first round picks have flaws, as they should since of late most were well outside the top 10.

Don't really need Ziebel but definitely need a versatile big man - would not swap Ty for Ziebel at all!

You don't like Ellis, Griggadee?

He had a good season, but I'm not convinced his in the same field as big V, Cotchin or Martin
But for pick 15 his good value

Come on zipperdee, Ellis has had two good seasons out of two. Not bad for a snot nosed kid just starting his career. Will continue to develop into a quality player, may not be elite but he'll be damn good n reliable over his career.

Far from it, I like Ellis. I reckon he could captain our side one day.
But for Xfactor/match winner he dosent match those 3.

No pressure, at all.
Nice donation Scotty's, you do realise of course that like all serious AFL awards it's a mid fielders medal. The Beanie might be all toasty warm n cosy but it will only be appreciated by the wearer. Hope you at least get to enjoy the seasons investment.

Daniel Talia says hi. So does Mark Stevens who tipped Talia mid-season at 50s.

This McBean fella - hasn't even had his first kick in the team proper, and he's already got almost 100 pages written about him. Must say something !!
It quite possibly does, I'm just not sure if that's about the player or the supporters, though.

Think we should all drop off some gold, frankincense and myrrh at PRO.

Interestingly, the names of the 3 wise men were Balthazar, Melchior and Gaspar

The signs are indeed auspicious. (black and) gold, frankincense (jackson) and ...... well 2 out of 3 signs aint bad. A midnight mass at Punt Road could be a good marketing opportunity this McBeanmas.
