Know how you feel Liam breaking an ankle.Mines a 12 month injury in football parlance according to my Doc as I clean broke my fibula.
Mate, have a new found respect for footballers who have these injuries.
I'm in my moonboot now.

Still bloody going to the cricket. They will have to drag me away from boxing day.

Anyone can porter me some beer? ;D :cutelaugh

TY watching now.
A very mature speaker.
Can't wait for his debut.

P.S.
I'm getting my big screw removed from my ankle Friday btw.
Apparently in Canada ,they leave the titanium screw in and just let it break in your foot in time.

i hope I can take it home.
Will frame it.
Maybe I should change my user name to TITANTIGER hehe.
Will be walking soon AT LAST.
Hopefully get some magnificent banana cake with custard again at the hospital. ;D

There is a bit of chatter around the non Richmond traps about McBean now but he is going to largely under the radar. I am struggling to think of a time when there has been more "potential superstars " in the key forward posts coming through. Daniher, Hogan, Boyd, Patton and Cameron all have massive hype around them so Liam largely gets left out of discussions. I think this is good for us and for him. However when you compare what he achieved in the VFL at Coburg in a very poor team in 2013 against Hogan and Daniher he definitely deserves to get mentioned.

He is the player I am most looking forward to seeing in the NAB series. I don't have massive hopes for 2014 but I do in the longer term, he has something special imo.

Yeah I read that. I temper any indignation with the feeling that it's probably a good thing.

Still hasn't joined the main group this pre-season so you'd think the very back end of NAB series at best.

That damn ankle in the mid at Coburg. :'( Sliding doors 'n' all that.

I would like to see Mcbean started on the wing and Grigg with the green vest. This would create a difficult match up for the opposition a player who is great at ground level and good in the air. It would give him time and space to atune himself to Afl level.

ha ha, just posted as much on another thread yandb. you can keep the copyright though ;D

In the future maybe, perhaps the way Westhoff was used for Port this year would be the thought.

But Mcbean would be miiiillllees off having the tank to sprint up & down the ground all day at AFL lvl ATM, especially with no pre-season as yet.

Who to match up on the green vest?

Thank you, voice of not-being-totally-batshit-insane.
