As I understand McBean wasn't a pole as a junior so played alot of midfield. He shot up but kept his agility and skill thus his great skills at ground level as well. Great sort of player to find. Beats trying to convert basketballers.

Yep, he's dual sided as well because of his sound juniors background.

I seem to remember Jack playing at CHB that night of Sheedy and Hirds farewell game. If memory serves, he came up the ground and kicked one from outside 50.

I reckon Justin Plapp had quite a bit of hype about him when he ran around in the mcgoos.
