TY TigerDave.

P.S. Just reminds me how amazing footballers are when they deal with the pain of ankles and Richo had 2 knee reconstructions and also Nathan Brown's snapped leg.I felt like I was walking on a stump after i realised I broke my ankle.Pain was incredible and reminded me of the pressures we put on our players when they deal with these injuries all the time and get up and play again. The only other injury I've had is getting my head smashed in by a hockey stick (had a lump on my forehead resembling a cricket ball and probably explains my poor memory and being able to focus on things).

I'm pretty sure Richo only had 1 knee reco after running into the fence in Sydney in 1995.

Was a sad day even though we had a great win and went to top of the ladder.

I'm sure he had another knee reco.

I'm still dirty to this day on that cheat Dunkley fencing him whilst he was in mid air

Only had the one knee reco that I can remember, but a foot injury kept him out for most of 2000. Frawley's first year as coach.

Yep - had a Lisfranc rupture to his foot in 2000 which he described as harder to get over than his knee reco.

because frawley thought he past running around the flanks

fattened him up to play like Lynch or Plugger at full forward

Sounds right to me. About 2 or 3 years after the first one the other knee went IIRC.

Definitely only had one knee reco. The foot was worse and came when he was at the peak of his powers. Suffered a broken rm which broke again (or at least got hairline fractures ) near the original break a few times. Hammy's took some games (and career in the end) a couple of bad facial injuries, but definitely only one knee reco.

Is anyone worried we will start playing him down back in the vfl like we have done with every other tall forward on our list.

i'm not the least bit worried.

It's the where we drafted him.

We draft a key back/ruck at 203cm

It would be great if he ends up living up to his potential at both ends of the ground. Would be excellent if he proves as versatile as he is talented (so far at VFL level).

If you want a laugh, go read the Jonathon Patton vs Tom Boyd vs Joe Daniher vs Jesse Hogan thread on BF.

Doesn't take long before it is hijacked by Liam McBean and opposition supporters (mostly Essendon) get a bit fired up. :hihi

No because this one kicks goals. Reiwoldt hasn't played back in my memory.

I loved the reasoning that daniher is a better player because he took more marks and played afl. Just disregard more goals to mcbean.

The Beanernator gets more goals off the deck that any big man I can remember, Daniher is much more traditional key forward.

He played most of his last season of U-18s as a key back whereas Jack or Richo have never played key back in their lives. I saw Richo play a quarter at CHB in an intra-club game and he kicked two goals and never went near his man!
