if they both don't work hard enough it's a reason to give neither a game not to promote McBean. Two wrongs don't make a right.

From what I have read the guy imposing himself on contests at vfl level recently is Elton. Let's play him instead of both vickery and McBean.

Sorry I disagree. If one has played 100+ games and still giving the same insipid performances you choose the guy who hasn't been given the opportunities. I have watched McBean a number of times and think it's a furphy that his attitude and application is anywhere near as bad as Vickery's. He certainly wouldn't lambast his team mates as Vickery has done many times in the past. Elton's another argument. I think Elton's career is over at the Tigers personally. Reckon McBean is gone as well.

I have watched McBean plenty of times as well and disagree. He doesnt work hard enough and his default is being a lurker.

I have seen enough of him. Won't make it so shop him off with Ty

My bad. Thought they were referring to his AFL performances.
I were at the game I reckon the VFL stats man needs his eyes checked or maybe I do ??? In hindsight he did take at least 1 contested mark as I remember nearly falling out of my seat when he did so.

Really?

Surprised Sinners, that's harsh on a 21 yo 200 plusser.
yeah probably, that's fair. You know I have always been concerned with his work rate so maybe this is my general reaction to frustration with the team generally.

It's just that every time he has been asked to step up he can't, at least so far. Maybe this is my little hissy fit of frustration with how crap we are ? ;D

I understand totally ;D

The whole 5 times he's been asked to step up? With 2 as sub?

Well let's sack him now then! Drummond is a few months younger and up to McBean's telly of full games. Looks out of his depth so let's turf him too.

Probably won't make it but I will never agree that McBean is anywhere near as lazy as Vickery.

If Hardwick stays I'm expecting he'll be delisted come the end of the season.

I'm all for giving him another year,
But delisting him means closing this thread, then I'm all for that.

if roughly half the squad are out of contract, some will have to stay. and it looks like Vickery is goneski, so for the sake of balance, I'd be surprised if McBean isn't retained.

Yeah - assuming one of Griff/Ty are traded, you'd keep Bean for backup, depending on who we trade in of course.

More than that. He was dropped last week and from all accounts did not do anything to suggest the selectors got it wrong.

Nor did the player brought in to replace him and who he replaced. But hey, never let facts get in the way of a good story.
