Liam McBean

What's the point of dropping him.
The season is shot and has been for a long time.
Just play him and make an assessment at the end of the season.
Jesus, we've held on to Elton for 5 years and 2 games.

I thought that he has improved each week. Still too early to say whether he will succeed at the top level for me. Has showed signs though, I'd persist with him for the rest of the season.
Yep only downside today was missed a couple of shots on goal and late in the game poor in defence. Prefer him than sheds, ellis, vickery, hampson and a few other regulars!

In what universe does a 203 cm player not have to compete overhead ???, maybe just yours.

McBean is a champion in the making
He'll turn it on when it's time

Thought he showed glimpses. Needs a run for the rest of the year but he is decent trade bait considering his VFL output. He is a mystery.

Keep him in for the rest of the year, unless Elton shows enough to warrant a run in the seniors.

No point bringing Princess back in.

I thought he did OK. Competed and brought the ball to ground.

Just needs to nail those goals.

Our game plan sucks and it does our forwards no favours. Riewoldt is struggling by it FFS.

Funny that Alex Rance has excelled.
It was more a reference to forward play. It's almost impossible to be effective the way we play.
As for Rance, tipping it's more self motivation than anything else.

Fair point. Our game style just suffocates any natural nous. No wonder our best player is a defender.

Missing shots that he would usually nail. It has surprised me that the confidence at VFL level hasn't showed itself so far at this level but the kid is human I suppose.

He kicks two today and he's had a decent game. Let himself down.

Beanie had a few things to improve for this week. His intensity was well up. That was good. But he had to kick the *smile* goal. Hopefully he gets another chance.

He seemed to be stuck under floaters battling 2 or 3 defenders more often than not. Tough gig, but it would be easier if he had more speed or more strength. He has neither unfortunately.

According to Dimma's comment a couple of weeks ago the Bean has another game next week to show his talents. His big problem is the size of his body doesn't allow him to contest well.
Still Dimma will want his sacrificial lambs to allow the favoured few to return so any or all of the youngsters need to watch out

I think he might be gone.

Sadly I agree - but - gee it sucks!

Rather see this guy over a few more weeks than see that pathetic Vickery!!

We have seen Vickery.

END the FARCE.

I'd like to see a few more games. If he doesn't start to shine, next week then 1 or 2 more. I fear he is just almost.

He created a few contests and laid a few tackles

Does not look like they have showed him where the weight room is at punt road though
