Liam McBean

Least time on the ground of any Richmond player bar Grimes who was injured in the third.

Hardwick must have felt forced to play him but set him up to fail.

Will likely be dropped next week and probably fade away, at least at RFC.

Beanie playing with the confidence of a player that knows the coach doesn't rate him.

Missing shots that he would usually nail. It has surprised me that the confidence at VFL level hasn't showed itself so far at this level but the kid is human I suppose.

I laughed at the start of the last that Beanie still sat on the bench even with Grimes injured and Hampson was playing forward.

As has happened for 7 years Hardwick will get his way and us poor idiots will cop it.

Master club and career killer is our Dimmer!

Jeez tough crowd. 5th game from a 200 pup?

I thought he was OK. Similar numbers to Griff, minus the goal assists for them that griff racked up.

To be fair the Bean Pole and the other forwards didn't stand a chance, I thought he had a crack, but i've got me doubts on him making it.

Tim Membrey was recruited at pick 46 in the same draft year, whilst McBean was taken at pick 33.
I know who will be the better player long term. Another of FJ's super picks.....

He plays short.
Doesn't need to compete over head.
In what universe does a 203 cm player not have to compete overhead ???, maybe just yours.

The Tatts scared the recruiting dept

with limited possessions - he must kick straight - it is his best asset

Like many - not good enough at AFL level although playing forward for Richmond is a hard ask

I thought that he has improved each week. Still too early to say whether he will succeed at the top level for me. Has showed signs though, I'd persist with him for the rest of the season.

He's a blank bullet, plenty of noise and nothing to deliver. Will be part of the cleanup i assume.

And Ty Vickery isn't the answer either. Neither are up to elite AFL standard or capable of being part of a decent Richmond team. No more recruiting mistakes.

Agreed.
He is improving slowly with more experience and has a football brain unlike many of our players.
Either he bulks up or needs to gain more speed.
