Pretty much. From where I sit they're all kids that I want to do very well so I can be proud of them.

But it's ok mutton, at least you've had a few correct calls mixed in with your premature exaltations. Others aren't as fortunate

Every real supporter wants all our players to do well. So well that come selection time it's a matter how many players deserve inclusion as opposed to how many deserve to be dropped. If he plays a string of games hopefully he'll do enough to keep pushing for senior selection. If he doesn't, hopefully he learns, goes back and works on what he needs to work on.

That simple really. No conspiracy, no plot, no vendetta. Just a handful of posters who staked their reputations on McJesus and now they are struggling to accept reality.

Fair enough, not like there is a body of work on which to stake this claim or that. There has been a lot trumpet where a kazoo would do so far.

I don't think he'll be anywhere near a star - a star.... laughable. In this case I think selectors have got him right. Our seasons shot anyway so I'd like them to just give him 5 games so the minority can wake up to him not being up to it. Then sit back and again hear they're winging and carry on again as to the many reasons he was not given a go.

Gee we're a funny lot. For years we've heard how superior Liam is in so many ways and how wonderful he was in his 2 senior games. We've heard about conspiracies, personal vendettas and lost finals chances by not selecting him. Whether he's selected this week or not he's the closest he's been for ages. Suddenly the negativity and preconceived excuses are flowing. How about sending some positive vibes for the kid and duscussing his performances on merit. Talk about build him up to shoot him down.

Is pretty simple.

He will be a gun if he's given an opportunity. That means a handful of games in a row to show what he has. Simple logic and prior experience of talented talls suggests he will need that.

Just asking for reason from the selection panel.

Which is way way way too much to ask.

The fact McBean hasn't been given an opportunity, does not mean Lamb, or anyone else, has been wrong about anything. If he was given a half dozen games and went bad, well maybe a different story.

I watched Jay Schulz run around for Coburg as captain kickless, bereft of opportunity, carp delivery, and zero confidence.

I share Lamb's opinion on this bloke, and going by the current situation with this Richmond playing group and their poor results, wear it as a badge of honour that I am currently at odds with this Richmond selection panel.

The reality, as you say, is that he is not being picked, but that is no shame to McBean supporters. I still think he is a damn good player in a carp 2's team and wish they would pick him and drop Vickery.

There is no conspiracy. The carrot has been dangled, it's up to him now. From what I can gather he is another rfc tall peaheart.

So you are happy to continue on with the couple tall peahearts Handbrake and Co keep selecting, or would you rather
see what our other tall's can provide before you brand them as peahearts?

I sit on the fence, but at the end of the day we KNOW Vickery and Griff are mediocre, at least give McBean a chance to prove one way or the other, while we have a run of meaningless games.

What do you mean 'from what I can gather?'

Might be a chance to replace Griffiths still.

I just don't get the reluctance to play him. The players picked ahead of him aren't any better.

Just play him for a string of 5-10 games (like they have with Menadue) and lets see what he's got? Can't hurt anyone. We're already *smile*.

At least Vickery and Griff are mediocre at AFL level. I see no sense in replacing them with someone who is mediocre at VFL level, no matter how many of his relatives get on PRE and sprook his values!

A spot is there for someone who really wants it. What a pity nobody seems to want it badly enough.

As silly as it sounds I don't think he is the Vickery Griffith type of key forward, I jus t think his a very unique type of player who's tricks could possibly work well beside a player like Jack.....doesn't look like his going too make it either way

Did I just hear right or do I need a hearing aid? Is Justin Plapp the coach of the Casey Scorpions? I hope Mr McBean is not the coach of the Northern Bullants in the year 2030.
