And did it work out for Todd Elton to debut v Crows in Adelaide?
What kind of simple minded mentality is that, like every player in the whole world is cut from same mould ::)

Well thank Einstein but maybe you should think before typing. I put on the team v WC thread to play McDonough. So I don't think every one is cut from the same cloth you moron.

Is it better to be called a moron or an ape?

I'd prefer to be called a cretin actually.

A good question for those in the Creationist fraternity.

Re: mcbean -- birth of a legend

Must have a fair haul for the season so far? Like 20ish goals?

Actually a moron used to be a psychometric classification

moron was applied to people with an IQ of 51-70, imbecile to those with an IQ of 26-50 and idiot to people with an IQ of 0-25.

True story. Pretty sure *smile* was a clinical diagnosis too

Re: mcbean -- birth of a legend

Just saw the Coburg highlights. Geez this kid can finish; great skill for a big bloke.

He's built like a tooth pick but *smile* it; bring on the Bean!!!!

Re: mcbean -- birth of a legend

Would love to see him play for us this year, would hate to see him get crunched though, there isn't much meet on those wings.

Re: mcbean -- birth of a legend

I think they ought to pick the games with smaller back lines and play him selectively. No point risking him in Perth. But would definitely seem capable of stepping up a grade.

Re: mcbean -- birth of a legend

Really hope we leave McBean and McDonough in the ressies for the year to properly develop.
Ok to gift them a game late in the season when the finals are out of reach.
These guys are both strong long term prospects but atm the big bloke is too light/skinny and the small bloke needs to lose more puppy fat.
Time and patience will be of great benefit long term.

We should play them against the younger teams like the Giants and Suns

Think we are going to need all hands on deck for the suns...

GWS agree though..

then next year he may get the rising star

Re: mcbean -- birth of a legend

Bean and Madonna are two high footy IQ and skills players. Its all about physical development with them.

It would be nice though to put out a forward line as below in the near future.

Shed Jack King

Beanie Vickery Mcdonagh

Actually at this stage of their development both Beanie and Madonna could share the same forward pocket role as they have very similar attributes despite differing proportions - ie very good goal sense and skills, good overhead and an ability to create.

Actually with a Martin and Cotchin rotating down there it could get quite scary down there for opposition defenders.

Hit the gym boys!
