Re: mcbean -- birth of a legend

Not sure you would want him to big might loose agility for his height he is great at ground level & below his knees.

Re: mcbean -- birth of a legend

Speaks like a coach does Beano.......geez watch out 2015 onwards....

Re: mcbean -- birth of a legend

He's big enough to debut in a non-big game. as long as his tank can handle 1/2- 3/4 of a game, either subbed off or as the sub, give him a taste.

That's exactly what I was thinking. He does need some kg but not over the top. His going ok against senior bodied players every time I see him play.
I would play him against Crows after the bye.
Looks very good, but how many times have we said that about a junior whopper?

Re: mcbean -- birth of a legend

Reckon he'd be a hard match up for a big dude in the seniors. Plays with real smarts and purpose and a quick thinker. Wow

Re: mcbean -- birth of a legend

Interesting that Daniher (of fame due to being Joe "the Messiah" Daniher's father) said he had watched beanie develop with his son and Beanie had been a midfielder until he had a growth spurt. He actually plays like a midfielder, kicks both feet, moves like one and picks it off the ground like he is closer to the ground than eddie Bett's shorts. Just a pleasure to watch. END THE FARCE. put him in as ruck rover!

Just spotted Beanie on Roar Vision with Jacko interviewing him in the kitchen learning how to cook with the other cubs. Jacko asked his weight 93 kegs and what he was when he came to Tigerland 87 kegs. Goal is 100 kegs. Jacko reckons a 100 kegs / 200 cm Beanie running around at CHF!

This, combined with Leysy and TJ's empirical work on the engine room, suggest he's gonna be a broad bean rather than a string bean sooner rather than later.

Re: mcbean -- birth of a legend

The man should get at least a game before the end of the year. Really smart footballer.

Re: mcbean -- birth of a legend

Ireckon he could easily play sooner without building up too much more. Obviously it will be better when he has some more meat on him but he is so good on the ground, he'd be a very hard matchup. I'd consider nringing him for McCarey if he fails again this game.

That's the thing, you dont want to put too much weight on him too quickly or he will start to do some injuries. Steady as it goes and he will be fine and yes he doesnt need too much weight put on - maybe another 7 kg or so and then it depends on what possie the club see him playing a role as.

Re: mcbean -- birth of a legend

Luke would be getting a bit anxious seeing this guy getting rather large in his rear view mirror.....

Re: mcbean -- birth of a legend

End the farce! Mc Bean is the most natural footballer I've ever seen at 2 meters tall ever to pull on a Richmond jumper!!

Re: mcbean -- birth of a legend

If the win loss goes negativo, you never know what sly thoughts might slide into dimmas brain. Mcbean on a flank?

Delicious.

according to leysy and tj, Beanies rear view is more intimidating from behind.

End the farce. Let the kid run free on the wide plains of Perth.
