Dusty is ranked 10th in the Midfield category with 521.

Behind: Dangerfield, Kennedy, Pendlebury, Bontempelli, Gray, Sloane, Zorko, Selwood and Parker.
Says a lot for champion doofus cred then.
They have a category for mid / forwards yet classify Dusty with the mids ( where he is still elite ) yet Dusty is playing plenty of forward time as his eight goals plus numerous assists would verify. Reckon his numbers would be off the chart for a mid / forward rating.

Champion data is the biggest load of *smile*.
Besides Dangerfield 17 clubs would have dusty in front of any if the other turds.
Have of champion data is made up. Meters gained...*smile*.

Funny thing about stats experts - they're great at interpreting data after the event. Just wish they could tell me who would win, why and how before it happens.

Its like the highly paid footy experts who people cling to their pre match analysis , yet they dont finish any higher in their footy tips than the man on the street

Rockliff has 37, 28 and 28 disposals so far and named in best each game. Next week will tell a tale.

Well the tale was told today.

11 tackles
Named Best.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Caddy's role for this team goes beyond possessions and goals. His big body presence around the contest can't be under valued. He should only get better too.

I don't think he is going as bad as people make out but not sure he would get better from here on in at this third club

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Sorry, should have said his output this year should only get better... he won't play worse than the way he's started the year.

Fair enough Jack

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

He looks goog when he gets the ball in open space but can't win one on one contests or get the pill when he has to run for it.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

His work rate looks down. He was averaging 20 touches and a goal a game at the Cats.

Looks lethargic and putting in some weak efforts. He is a smart player but If I was the coaches I'd be telling him he's on thin ice. Because he can do better.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

You have to wonder how happy he is,he came to Richmond for more midfield opportunities and is playing mainly forward like he did at the Cats.

Some of his efforts are non competitive and lazy. I'm actually disappointed. Thought he was much better. I've seen nothing to suggest he was worth pick 26. Big body my ass. Doesn't break packs, doesn't extract the ball from packs and has no explosiveness. Mmmmmmm

He is there for structure and he is verstaile, He can not get the ball both forward and back. Getting the ball is overrated.

Some smart blokes here on PRE said so. Us dumb blokes don't understand structure.

Some other things the smart blokes said was:

Elton is there for structure too. He also doesn't get the ball when he rucks.

Lambert doesn't get the ball but that doesn't matter as his opponents do. He is what they call a tagger apparently.

Prestia can get the ball but cant kick more than 20 metres at the moment and also can't run. But not running doesn't matter unless your Miles..

Caddy gets it a little but is slow but that doesn't matter either unless your Miles..

Having a big body around the contest doesn't only translate to extracting the ball yourself, but it also provides protection for other players like Cotchin who can break away with the footy.

Townsend put in a strong claim to Caddy's spot today. I'm not a Townsend fan either.

I am not a Townsend fan either TBH, TBH, but he also played a lovely practice game a few weeks back.

If he keeps it up he could save himself a spot on the list for next year.
