Has that future Brownlow Medalist Danny Meyer had a senior run at Port yet ?

Actually, is he still a rookie over there or did he get promoted ?

still on the rookie list i think

Rodan looked pretty impressive the week before last, but.

Staggering really. Probably the best game he has ever played.

It is amazing how some Pre's have got nothing better to do than hound ex-tiger players, and rubbish them.Bottom of the barrel stuff really. ::)

But it's fine for posters to bag the club for trading/delisting them?

And not to mention posters hounding current tiger players!

Incredible. I wish he was still playing with us. I always liked him.

Sarge was pathetic on the weekend, He'll be back......He's played some okay games this year.

Been average all year. 6 goals in 5 games as a full forward just doesn't cut it. Was only a matter of time. Raines is out injured. Peterson has been recalled into the Hawthorn side.

I've watched a couple of games that Sarge has played in at PA and has done nothing to suggest anything else that he is just the same old same old sarge. Does one or maybe two nice things in a game but i wouldnt be loosing any sleep in seeing him play over in sleepy town for the rest of his career.

I don't get it.
Posters are just justifying their long held stances on a player. I have no issue with that.

Dare I suggest that if the team were travelling well, certain posters would be spraying elsewhere?

No, I believe Schulz would still be targeted regardless.
He caused a lot of frustration at Richmond over 7 long years.
Some (including myself) thought he might go better at Port.
That he hasn't makes their angst justified.

when are you actually going to discuss footy rather than spray posters? You keep going on about this. Get over it. It's normal behaviour to discuss the merits of delisting players and their progression at other clubs. So far the axing of Schulz and Raines has been justified it seems.

Hmmm, I reckon Port would've figured that on form the Schulz for Farmer trade has probably broken even - except that it also included Pick 72 that we used to pick up young Nason, so I reckon that puts us ahead at the moment :fing32

A few Punters were suggesting that Schulz was shackled by being at Richmond and that he would have been a star if Richo had have been kept out of his way. I didn't agree with that view and thought he put in a very ordinary effort week after week.

Nothing wrong with discussing his merits a million miles from Richo and Richmond. Haven't seen him play at Port so can't make a comment on whether he has improved or not.

Interesting that even though Tredrea is now injured, Schulz is named on the bench. Looks like they're slowly losing the faith. Raines also named on an extended bench for Brisbane.

:blah :blah :blah

Asked a Port-supporting mate for his opinion on Schulz a couple of weeks ago. After saying he was pleased with Schulz's work rate and one-percenters and that he helps with structure, he closed with "If he could kick his 1 or 2 a game he'd be playing every week, but somehow he doesn't quite get it done." Sarge's career summarised in one sentence.
