Is it worth playing Schulz FF for the remainder of the year? Or, Cleve for that matter....?

I can't see how you lose out by playing them.

If they fail we tank & they're delisted at years end but if they succeed that's a good thing as they can either be traded on or kept to fill a need.

Oh no ToO is back on the Shulz bandwagon :hihi He'd be an expensive delisting. Im of the opinion we keep him in the VFA where he can kick a bag of goals and hopefully raise his worth. We wont tell any interested clubs that he cant play AFL, that'll be our secret.

With a bigger bodied Sylvester playing FB I notice how the structure looks better with Thursfield playing on the 2nd tall. I was just curious if anyone can remind me if Schulz has played FB consistently at Richmond or Coburg in the last 3-4 years. I know he has played Fwd and played a lot of loose man in defence I was just can't remember if he played FB. I'm not convinced that Sylvester can cut the mustard and I know Schulz is contracted for another year so I was wondering if there is a bit of a Scotty Turner late career option in the backline if Sylvester is injured and Moore isn't available.

Forget about Schulz. He's either going to another club or be delisted.

Post has already overtaken him.Problem is he still contracted next yr,maybe Port for a late pick

I doubt anyone will trade for him... you never know. But I'm still trying to find an answer to the question.

Has he played at FB anywhere (Richmond, Coburg, Coburg Ressies) in the last couple of years?

If we're stuck with him for another year then you can't hurt trying something different even if it is only at Coburg.

7 years people 7 wasted years he still gives nothing he still does nothing yet deluded ferals still say what about Jay.

I reckon Gumpus was a better performer for the RFC and my thoughts on him are well documented.

Jayden Post is already showing plenty why go back to this truck.

The guy is simply is not AFL standard .... get it in your heads, and pull your panty hose up and get on with it ffs.

Ferals slander Silvester as a dud and not to AFL standard (which i concur mind you) yet he is having his first run at senior standard this year and is a very good VFL level player but he aint good enough for AFL.

Schulz on the other hand who ferals cling to and hope and wish for has done sweet *smile* all for 7 years thats 7 bloody years what a joke and it is nothing more than incompetance that had him re signed as well as King, Polo etc past this year.

Schulz is a waste of time and space , and dollars, delist him, trade hijm i dont care just get rid of him ffs i cant stand watching him in a RFC guernsey same goes for 6-7 others.

The fact he is contracted to next year is appalling. Probably, 4th round is all we deserve for this slacker.

We were offered late 2nd round (pick 28) 2 years ago but of course Miller didn't think that was good enough ::)

Geez I'm so glad we've seen the back of Miller and Wallace (notwithstanding the fact Craig Cameron was the one who gave Schulz a 2 year deal at the end of last year :p)

agree with everything on *smile* has been a disaster for us, not up to it cya later...
But i disagree on Polo, the guy is getting his hands on the ball, uses it well on either foot, goes in hard, is bloody desperate to win the ball at all costs and can take a grab...

juff three years ago he was played in defence, against reiwalt and he had him dragged he was then put on hammil and was giving him a hiding until one of our backs gave him a hospital pass which saw hammil crunch him in a tackle and schulz popped his shoulder. i belive schulz was out for an extended period after that.

Schulz doesnt have an engine. Thats why he's up for one contest and disappears for the next 3. Schulz aint AFL grade, never was, never will be, and he's cost the Tigers millions of dollars in salary. He is the perfect advertisement for performance based contracts.

At the end of his tenure he will have been at the Tigers for EIGHT long years. It is a joke. Fancy not taking pick 28 for him. Live and learn I say.

Strangely I don't think Schulz's shown in the past that he's strong enough in the air to play full back.
Concur with others that Jay's done at Richmond in lieu of Post's few appearances.
If it can be arranged I expect him to be a bit part of a trade package to another club come seasons end.
