Obviously I'm in the minority but, I would like to see Shulz, play every game for the rest of the year.........

I haven't given up hope on Shulz and want to see what he can do under Rawlings.

Seeing as how I'm going to cop it, I may as well add, that I haven't given up on Jake King either.

Odds on there and let me start - 8 years is enough for Shulzey and as for Jake - sorry unless he can get his disposal efficiency to at least the league average and he is at half of that over his career, we can't carry him. I think you are an old softie OET.

How on earth was Schulz offered a two year contract at the end of last year?

He actually had his best year last year and at the end of the year we were still short KPPs.

For the second half of last year he played CHB and showed some improvement. His distribution was effective and he played a role.

Fast forward to pre-season and the genius in charge plonked him at FF - result - same as his previous 7 years up forward. D'oh Terry!

Schulz doesnt have an engine. Thats why he's up for one contest and disappears for the next 3. Schulz aint AFL grade, never was, never will be, and he's cost the Tigers millions of dollars in salary. He is the perfect advertisement for performance based contracts.

At the end of his tenure he will have been at the Tigers for EIGHT long years. It is a joke. Fancy not taking pick 28 for him. Live and learn I say.
Great post. Schulz' time is up at Tigerland I believe - we should fork out the required money to de-list him at the conclusion of this season. He is (and has been) the perfect example of a front runner - someone who is up and about when the team is playing well, but when its an off day, he's nowhere to be seen and simply looks disinterested. IMO he has lacked heart, toughness and dedication throughout his entire career - and not only that but his offield misdemeanor left a little to be desired.

yes i think the sarge is GAAAAWN...
very sad. Sarge was a great FF in the making. Broken Leg + Drink Driving + Hogans Heroes Surname was all against the Lad. Great player. Sh!t happens I suppose.

So Raines is the only 2009 discard playing this week in the AFL?

Massive error to get rid of all of those champs at the end of last year! :)

Raines is out injured :spin

There goes our chances of trading in the future with Shulz being ommtied and Raines out with knee problems,
This must be Trades ommited week, with Shultz, Raines, Macdonald, mclean, williams all out...

Sarge was pathetic on the weekend, He'll be back......He's played some okay games this year.

Yep, will kick five in the magoos, Come back, kick none, get dropped again, kick four in the magoos, come back, put at centre half back, play half decent footy and then get traded to Freo.

Has that future Brownlow Medalist Danny Meyer had a senior run at Port yet ?

Actually, is he still a rookie over there or did he get promoted ?
