Jay Schulz [Merged]

Ya, methinks we are of the same mind on Schulz Pharace.

Have a look at my Crack at October post to see what I would try and do with him *Psssssssssst* I'm deluding myself I think.

I just have been looking at the draft thread.

2002 Jay was drafted.

What i dont understand is how a club can have someone like this on their list for 7 years!
How does he get away with that????? He is not a regular after 5 years surely he would have to go???
I remember Terry saying on the Radio he was rubbish before he joined us as coach.

Just pointing this out because, too me this is the reason we continue to be aweful!

Classic list clogger.

We could have done with Schulz today. At least he's a big(ger) body in the forward line. Richo's presence aside, you need to off-set the balsa wood brothers, Brown and Nahas.

Not sure why we need him - he does nothing - has no impact and shows the intensity od a goldfish when playing - as i said major list clogger.

Got no idea when Colin Silvia was drafted but would think he is a much more secured part of the team than Shulz is.

2003 one yr after schulz and like schulz if clubs go thru proper processes should have been delisted at the end of 07.

i think we should trade schulz if we play him in a few more games this season and he looks ok we should trade him off for whatever we get for him i do not think he can do anything good for richmond and as he reaches his prime age we may actuly be able to get something for him

He's under contract for 2010 so we'd probably have to offer to pay some of his salary to get any reasonable offer. Would we get a 3rd rounder?

Papers stamped or lifting the benchmark of performance. Jack too got held back after a bag of six.
They'll be looking for Jay to back it up again next week before he gets promoted back into the ones.

I have the feeling that Schulz is in his last season at Richmond, given that he has kicked 7 and 8 in two separate VFL matches and been ignored for AFL selection the next week. Rightly so though, because more often than not he brings nothing to the table.

Give him a few games once the caretaker is in charge and we should judge him then.
Dont forget hes contracted till 2010

Doesn't give much hope to others though who have good game in two's,we have no key forwards & you kick 8 you think you would be a chance, yet others dont produce & get promted throughout the yr.

jay will get his chance.... A good performance for coburg this week and he'll be back in next week in cambo's first week as coach. :nodyes
