Jake Batchelor

This IDIOT has to go. His disposal and his decision making are PATHETIC. Should not
be in the team if we have "depth".

Frustrating, he's doing some very good things.....and some very bad!

Seems to follow up every piece of good play with a howler.

Not the Lone Ranger there

Playing like Shane Edwards was at a similar age. Some very good, some very bad.

Yep.

I'm very disappointed in Batch today mainly because I know he's so much better than that. On paper he has all the attributes to be an excellent rebounding medium defender - but he's just middling atm. Like much of the squad.

SHOULD NEVER PLAY AGAIN, pathetic today and woeful against Carlscum.

He might be messy at times, but he's worth persevering with especially due to his athleticism which we lack badly. Rance in his early days.

Had two real bad kicks that hurt. They've got to get out of his game if he's going to make it.

Some very poor disposal under no pressure undid some very good defensive work from Batch today.

The one where he was kicking across to Vlastuin and Hunt was easily the worst, should have been a relatively easy kick and then they could have used the other for the overlap and we should have had a good entry into our F50, instead we conceded a goal as his kick was atrocious. If he can't get this out of his game, he will not make it and others will take his place. IMO I would rather Lennon down there, similar heights so not giving too much up and Lennon is a much better kick.

And unfortunately can still miss an easy target with a handball too - something from his early days. Probably part of his make up.

Yeah it was not a great kick from Batch, but it was Ellis' lack of awareness that turned that ball over - it was close to the worst bit of play today (can't really get excited about Ellis as others on here seem to). I actually said at half time that I thought our best were Batchelor and Rance, their attack on the ball was good. Rances' disposal and decision making was far better, but Batch did a good job all day, all IMHO of course.

Absolutely agree with this. Ellis should've shepherded to allow Vlaus to gather. Really dumb play. Ellis looked asleep on the job today.
