I'm with you there. He had a couple of years after a promising start where some of his weaknesses were exposed. He used to want to touch the ball before actually just grabbing it, but he's erased that and he used to lose confidence very quickly and go downhill from there, there were signs last year that he's got on top of that, too. I think he's developing into a pretty handy player. I felt last year that there was a contest between he and Dea for the spot. He's well and truly won that now, to the extent that I'm not sure why Dea is still on the list and if there is actually a place for him in the senior side. The big problem with Batch I find, and here's where I disagree with you, is that for a guy his size he has problems playing tall, and he needs to be able to do that at times. He could be a handy sub too.The_General said:Disagree Bullarto. He did look lost for a while, probably whilst he learnt a new role.
I think he's underestimated here. Could surprise a few, and think he's gets blamed for being too slow because the team is overall. Plays taller than he is. Fringe 22 player.
