I reckon his form decline must have something to do with fitness/injury

You can't drop away as much as he has without some issue - hopefully it gets sorted and his form returns

Maybe.
Looked like an upcoming tougher version of Joel Bowden in his first season. Not fit to shine his boots since.

I still have faith in this kid.

Ordinary year but he was very good in his first year. Great reader of the play and a good intercept mark. Agree with the person who said needs to get back to basics.

Needs to lose 15kgs.

not sure about 15kgs, but he probably does need to find a better balance between size/strength and mobility.
his ability to play on talls is one of his strengths but he isnt going to make a career out of it.

Needs to be traded, has looked disinterested and frustrated at times this season - like he needs a new start somewhere else.

His best is still fresh enough in recruiters' minds in order for him to still have some currency.

At Jake's best he can't be too bad a kick or decision maker as season before last he started an abnormal amount of score chains from defense. Discipline worries me at times, giving away silly free kicks which in defense can lead directly to a one possession score chain to the opposition.

I think his on-field ill-discipline is certainly something that can be improved, as it has been in many players before him. Just look at our b/f this year.

I'm just not sure he is a great kick of the football.

Correct. He doesn't have the height to be a career key position defender so he is going to have to be able to nullify small forwards. Still young, can definitely still learn so I wouldn't be getting rid of him yet.

Reading that, the coaches find him hard to judge and predict / he needs to get his consistency right
Sounds like his second half of the year saved him.

Both confidence was an issue for batch and griff, so the club thinks they can both play, but the issues are between the ears.

The tigers will go places in 2014 if they can get these two players switched on.

The kid can play. His in and out of the side. Would prefer him develop in the side instead of watching Newman and Astbury
His round 1 game against Carlton showed how could he could be.
Hardwick destroys players too. He has his favourites that get a game week in, week out, regardless how *smile* they're
