If Grimes was fit he might not be playing but it's becoming pretty obvious you can't rely on Grimes to stay on the park. Thus Batch will continue to play.

You answered your own question. In the BEST 22, Grimes plays ahead of Batch. He'll get games bcause he's a depth player and we'll always have injuries.
