You'd like to think Justin Leppitsch is helping him.

A BAD Thai restaurant will help his Heamorrhoid though! ;D

if the reason for the break up is the roid popped on the girl, there's all the living he needs right there.

Well put Dave. Laconic is right. This happens when players know they have the tools.

He needs to live in the real world a while. Get a heamorrhoid. Break up with a girl. Find a good local Thai restaurant.

Learn that time passes and he needs to make every post a winner. Unless his name is jayden.

agree except for the heamorroid, that would interfere with his preparation, could even be a week in an extreme case

playing with a bunch of grapes forcing forcing your cheeks apart ,with a bowl of Tom Yum Goong trying to sneek past would certainly fast track toughs

Poor Jake.

I had heard that great art is borne out of extreme misery, I hadn't heard that it translated to great football.

Maybe that's why Richo was so good. He had to play with Mark Chaffey.

Re: Pick 30 - Jake Batchelor

Only on Punt Road End could one discuss the effects of Thai food on haemorrhoids. Gentlemen, I’m sure there is a PhD in this for one of you.

Re: Pick 30 - Jake Batchelor

Like others I was really happy with his first season but he hasn't impressed me much since he's had a few injuries.
Main thing I'm not seeing as much in his game is the run and carry & pushing to the contest which was very evident & exciting in year one.
Quite simply doesn't seem to be moving as well or as much.

I may be able to afford some assistance to any discreet enquiries 8- :hihi

Re: Pick 30 - Jake Batchelor

looks like he has caught the dreaded number 11 disease, laconic, lazy half paced, even his skills look iffy
he is not fast or a quick thinker and thoise that claim he can play tall - forget it
no way is he in our best 22 i would play flossy and ellis before batch

He played tall on Hurley in the final game of last season.

Re: Pick 30 - Jake Batchelor

mmm no thanks one JB was enough, for the talent tha he had he was soft, unaccountable and lazy.... made an art form getting cheap possies in the back half
had the skill and talent vto be a genuine midfield star but lacked a bit of hardness and composure IMO

I don't think we had a more composed player than JB. Probably the most RFC under rated player in recent times IMO. Cool, composed, unflinching. Often expected to take the players he was physically completed outmatched but did a job on them more often than not.

Old chestnut and very wrong imo. The composure part is particularly wrong, JB was a very composed player.
If Batchelor is half as good as JB we will have a very good player on our hands.

Agree and he's not near Joel yet despite some similarity in style.

Agree, harshly judged by supporters who ignore the fact that he regulalry beat his man at CHB.

Agree totally. He seemed to do alot of things so easily and often that would be portrayed as lazy. And yes how often did he have to play tall in a totally crap side?

A good JB debate always brings out some quality posters to advocate :clap
