Ivan Soldo

All good choices, guys.

Clark Keating. Beau McDonald. Spider Burton was pretty epic.

Of the modern-dayeds, Oscar McInerney is up-and-coming, as is Sean Darcy.

Hard to go past Seaby, Blake and Burton.

Brayden Preuss is a contender for the worst ever.

Harry Madden transcended mere Doofery.. He is like some kind of God of the Doofuses.

He is becoming a quality doofus. Good year on year improvement.

He looks like he belongs out there, and is confident in his ability at AFL level. Consistently does the right thing, works hard and he is a strong lad. He has developed in leaps and bounds. Not my definition of a Doofus. :banana

I haven't watched much of the West Coast games and the reports of how Tom Hickeyhave been performing hard surprised me.

Every time I've seen him play he's resembled a 12 year old girl with multiple sclerosis.

Ain’t he? I love how far he has come. Through pure hard work. He’s the equal of Hampson but without the price.

When he snagged that goal you could see how much the group loved him coming through in the clutch.

I’m now torn between Chol / Soldo / Nank with CCJ not that far behind. Ruck stocks are so healthy.

Except Soldo kicks straight, competes, and follows up with second efforts, is three centimetres taller and 4 kg heavier.

I had my doubts on Soldo but happy to be wrong. It feels like his confidence & self belief has grown over the last 7 weeks when he has been able to compete well against good opposition. Credit where credit is due. Rapt for him. The depth we have at RFC is really good. Hope to maintain winning culture & finals for a few years to come.

Probably everyone had doubts about Soldo n yep I'm happy to be wrong as well. Big fella just keeps stepping up to the plate n whacking away. Small extra inputs into his overall game each week, slow n steady improvement from the big fella since he first came in for Nank and as honest a competitor as you could possibly want.

Has improved a lot and I'd rather him at a centre bounce v Grundy or NicN. But when will he take a bloody mark?

I think Ivan would be a good thing for the most improved. Done a terrific job.

Keeps improving and will play finals.

To bring in Nank now is a bit of a risk so Soldo should be our number 1 ruck for finals.

Agree with others - like to see some more marks around the ground.
