Ivan Soldo

Im all in on Ivan. He deserves a crack at immortality.

his more clark Keating than clark Keating ever was.

I probably already said that on Sunday night, but I can't recall much of Sunday night

think I might have done a groin and an abductor and a hammy and a hip flexor in a boisterous pissed kick of footy on the Main Street of Bangalow after the game?

didn't feel a thing last night, but I had the mobility of Frankenstein on the job today.

I reckon I went at 100% disposal efficiency on the road, but

geez that game had a grand final feel don't you reckon?

I am starting to become a believer. Mind you if you had asked me a quarter time I probably would have preferred Angus Graham than Soldo.

But from the second quarter onwards he was very good. He outworked Hickey and stuck a few errant knees and elbows into Shuey, Gaff and co.

He certainly responded well to the spray he copped from Kingsley at quarter time.

Nakas isn’t still 100% groin still causing him issues.
But the improvement by Soldo is unbelievable.
I would never have thought he would be any good.
He has been beyond good.
He is a dead eye *smile*..

I saw that too. The accidental on purpose knees...

For the record, Soldo 40 hit-outs 8 to advantage. Hickey 31 and 4. Other rucks for Tigers (Chol) 10 hit-outs 2 to advantage, for WC 5 hit-outs 3 to advantage.

old fashion X2

in the first quarter when darling got his first soft goal,

Ivan had the opportunity to pretty much end Darlings career

and erred.

I have no doubt that his cousin Evarn will be talking to him right now about leaving any erring in August.

Ivan Soldio has September immortal hero written all over him.

You are spot on. Soldo could have cult status bigger than senior Ivy come the end of the season.

Kudos to Kingsley for knowing when to discharge his load at 1/4 time.

Ain’t he? I love how far he has come. Through pure hard work. He’s the equal of Hampson but without the price.

When he snagged that goal you could see how much the group loved him coming through in the clutch.

I’m now torn between Chol / Soldo / Nank with CCJ not that far behind. Ruck stocks are so healthy.

I think Soldos well ahead of Chol and I think CCJ will give them windburn as he goes past them in the next 12 months

Is giving it everything he has in his bag of tricks.
Wants to be part of the action in September.
If nothing else, I love his attitude and his desire to be competitive.
He may not be up there with the leading ruckmen/followers in the comp, but he ain't going to die wondering and that's why I realy like him.
Busting his chops for the Yellow and Black.
Would love to see a premiership medallion swinging around his neck.
His ear to ear grin would be priceless.
