Ivan Soldo

Was really good today. Can't see how he gets dropped if Nank is available next week.

Perhaps Nank goes through the VFL and the MC gets to delay a really hard decision by a week.
Against the Scum, I'd risk it. Give Soldo and Cholly another game together as we need to focus more on crumbing and running in this game.

I am keen to see him play on Grundy. He is our nemesis and we know what a nank-grundy contest will end. Soldo definitely deserves a trial against grundy pre-finals.

He was a contributor today. I liked his intensity at the contest and he did his best to apply pressure where he could.
Not sure about his long term prospects but he's trying his best for the Tigers and that's all that can be asked of him.

Nanks will almost certainly come back against Collingwood. It means one of Soldo or Chol has to go. I'd choose Chol at this stage.

Good game from Ivan MKII. Thought he had a good first half last week also. Become a solid back up for Nank but don’t think we can play both. Think he will struggle if he come up against Grundy.

good game today. making progress. won the hitouts and starting to get connection with our onballers, a number of taps were well placed.
was involved when it hit the grass.
he is building

Gives us first use at ball-ups. That's worth a lot in my book.

Even if Nankervis is ready, I’d prefer we play Soldo V Collingwood.

Nankervis can’t go with Grundy in the ruck, and can’t beat him around the ground.

Soldo can’t go with Grundy around the ground either, but he could break even in the ruck.

1st use is important, and Nank having Grundy in his return week after 2 months out won’t be good for that groin.

Agreed Grundy has been the architect behind their last couple of wins , we d be mad not to try soldo , he’s improving and more than capable back up , his ruck work is the best we have

A few weeks ago you would say just bring Nank back, I think it is a much harder decision now. If Nank comes back are we conceding the centre bounce? Also, he hasn't played for a while so likely a little rusty.

Not sure what I would do, can't have both though.

Would keep Chol in at the moment, offers a lot more around the ground.
