Ivan Maric

From one of the premier rucks last year to a shell of his former self. Look the camera in the eye Dimma and tell us he's not playing injured.

Was well beaten by Griffin...something isn't right with the big fella.

Why can't people just except that he is just not playing well and not come up with "his carrying an injury" story?
I will like to see us play both the big O & Maric in the games.
Maric's biggest flaw this year is that he is almost dropping every mark.

Maric, TV and Big O won't play in the same team I wouldn't think.

Thought he was OK around the ground, but can't seem to get off the ground at the centre bounces. A worry.
Yep, no jump

Yeah something's up, he's not his usual self. Last year he was doing what Griffin was doing to us last night.

His marking and skills have deserted him.
Injuries don't make you all of a sudden drop marks.
Maybe struggling to bend down; groin still giving him trouble?

Plodding along now a bit. Remember this time last year how dominant he was? He was ridiculously strong and was marking everything but has come back significantly. I mean he's still serviceable but not giving us that rock like presence anymore. Need to plan for another A grader somehow. Not sure who is out there but it should be a priority for Hartley to get like a 23-24 year old ruck. Maybe Zac Clarke?

I'm not sure and this is just a personal opinion but it looks like he is still having groin problems.

Beaten last night, Griffin was great. Still nowhere near back to his best, but getting better each week and put in

is a passenger at the moment

Cant remember the last time he beat his opponent

Cant jump and cant get a hitout

Griffen was jumping twice as high. Maric had to resort to trying to tap it after the ball was coming down again. Gave away a few silly frees in ruck contests too. He's clearly struggling. Speaking of contested marks, Martin Pyke is the leading ruckman for contested marks, who would have thought? How does Swans get the very best out of their players all the time?

Oh another thing, commentators mentioned it, what's with the 2 ruckmen up against Maric that Fremantle employed late in the match? I thought there had to be a designated ruckman?
