Ivan Maric

There's still a glimmer of hope for Browne. I'd rather see Post in the ruck before Graham, looked better during his brief stints there back in 2010 than Gus has since.

Maric is no world beater, but geez how much difference does it make to have a ruckman out there that doesnt play scared like Gus.

I think in the long term, Maric will become to us, what Ben Hudson was to the Bulldogs.

That is the mould we have Ivan. Strong at the ball, a clearance footballer and very good hands below his knees.

The real impact he has on Martin & Cotchin will determine how big of a win the trade is.

I think a ruck combo with Maric and Derickx will serve us well and the protection they will give to the smaller players will be awesome around the gorund
I still think X plays a lot like a young Mark Lee and as he develops and adapts to the pace will be a very serviceable player for us

The North rucks were rotated and were kept fresh, Maric never went off as far as I could see. Despite that Mega mullet competed hard for the whole 40 minutes, the lad has heart as well as hair.

Thats true. Considering he almost doubled their combined output thats a great showing in my book. His only weakness is he hasnt got a big leap imo.

No - but he has a strong leap. He maintains form through the air. Graham turns into vermicelli.

The other thing I like about Maric - he has a big arse. Good for moving small people out of the way in tight situations.

He will certainlywear down bean poles thats for sure. You cant jump with a corkie!

I have always been a maric fan, got to see alot of him here in adelaide. Couldnt believe N.Craig not playing him and I am rapt he is a tiger.

This thread saddens me.
Pranged the bus already Baloo?
Gotta admit Eeevan the mullet worked pretty hard friday night. Perhaps you need to put a turbo and common rail injector system under the bonnet of your gusbus once you straighten the wrinkles out.

Nah, the Gus Bus is fine but it's sad to see so many haters congregate in one thread.

It's going to be a long season. Let's see if the Crows were right to replace Erevan with a kid who couldn't get a senior game at the blues.

Oh no. If that's what you really think of Jacobs it's little wonder you started the Gus Bus.

"Next Stop, End of the line, Coburg."

The biggest problem the Gus Bus has is that it doesn't have a myki reader installed, so it will be rendered obsolete by the end of March when Metcards are phased out.

The iVAN is a base model. It doesn't have parking sensors, or even rear view mirrors for that matter. Its massive blind spot has caused many pedestrian fatalities in Croatia - mostly to Serbians.

What I think has never influenced what I post.

So like many of us what you were actually thinking during the North game was "mmm, we seem to be winning more tapouts than usual"

Once the Browne Dog gets back to full fitness leysy expects the Gus Bus will need to pull up very early on match day at Coburg City Oval.

His not Stafford, but love his work in the middle, at least he will make every contest.
He knows how to tap and he jumps straight into his opponent!
If he can ruck and move forward and kick a goal or 2 a game he will a bargin!
