It's sad when they have to be tapped on the shoulder. Needs to look at Chaplin's example. I'm a fan, I love Maric, thought he was better last year than many here did, but this year he has looked well and truly done. The desire is still there, but the body simply doesn't have the ability left in it any more.

I think this is yet another misquote - the one I remember was Dimma not saying that our ruck stocks are A-OK, but saying that unless you can get a significantly better ruckman than the ones you already have don't bother.

The point being that three mediocre rucks are not really any better than two. You generally play only one of them each time in any case

No it's not. Dan Richardson specifically said in late 2015 that with Maric and Hampson our ruck stocks going into 2016 were more than adequate. That's not verbatim but words to that effect.

Yep, Ant is confusing DR,s comments from trade period last year with DH comments on SEN coaches box during the year where he said words to the effect that's there's no point getting a ruckman who's no better/taller than the ones you've got.
