Yes there was.
You don't play Maric at all and you ruck Vickery & Griffiths.
They had only Trengove FFS.
 
His best year was really the last hurrah of the crash and bash ruckman. Add to this his lack of marking ability he really has nothing to offer. Always loved him but this doesnt do his footy legacy any favours.

Vickery will NOT ruck. Griffiths was useless in the ruck tonight. We don't have any other options. Maric is now past it but he's the only one who could ruck tonught. Our closet is bare.
 
It's sad to see.

He was done 12 months ago but the club went into 2916 with he and Hampson as our rucks.

We have Rance and Jack and that's it as far as talls go. Nothing else. Zilch.

Didnt work great but maybe you're not comprehending what I said? We had NO alternative cause Vickery wont ruck and Griffiths cant ruck a whole game.
 
Sad to see when heart & soul players are on their last legs.
Bereft of confidence & clearly inhibited by failing body.
Sadly gone at seasons end.

Ahh, It's this kind of comment that makes forums painful.
 
Ivvy has been great for the club but is finished. He was so far off the pace tonight it was sad. Retire was some grace.
 
It's so hard to watch our big blokes stand around watching as our champs get beaten around. Watched Maric closely tonight , wanted him to show a physical presence in the packs. Still waiting. Haven't seen his angry passionate glare since early 2014. If his body was "shot" (2015) why is he still in the leadership group in 2016?

Once was a warrior but no more...

What irks me more than his many dropped marks and lowly 2 disposal count was hardwick gifting him a game...Ive seen him in the ressies has been terrible and sends the wrong msg to the rest of the playing group, players who r busting a gut and cant get in.

Now if he was so adamant of having a 3 tall fwd line then ffs bring in Mcbean and have Griff or Ty ruck surely they would've done better than 2 disposals...

In all honesty we shouldve gone shorter the weather looked grim even during the week high chance of rain but what does our brainiac coach do bring in 2 talls....
