I'll have to dredge up the quote where someone from RFC said Hampy and Ivan were good enough to cover our ruck stocks for 2016. Was it Blair or Dimma or Frank? Negligent.toby64 said:A few years ago it seemed like we had more talls than we knew what to do with.
Now apart from Rance and Jack we have zilch.
How did it get to this?

In 2015 Geelong had Simpson, McIntosh, Blicavs, Stanley, Clarke to cover their rucks (and Padraigh Lucy as a rookie)Harry said:Crazy. Everyone could see our ruck stocks were woeful. Geelong who had better rucks and more depth were still on the lookout for more rucks and went hard for smith.
Worry is Smith, Leuenberger an Kreuzer were all very gettable, yes they may have broke down, but we had the space in the cap to ad an adequate rucktigertim said:In 2015 Geelong had Simpson, McIntosh, Blicavs, Stanley, Clarke to cover their rucks (and Padraigh Lucy as a rookie)
They lost McIntosh and Simpson but got Smith.
We had Ivan, Hampy, Ty and Griff (and Ivan Soldo as a rookie) ......and kept them........
But it's not just the numbers and names it's the quality. Ivan we all love but we knew he was shot. Hampy isn't AFL quality and Ty.......is Ty and Griff isn't a ruckman.
