Ivan Maric

Hampson makes any side at least 5 goals worse IMO.

So yeah we need to pray Maric doesn't go down. In that case I'd still run with Griffiths/Vickery combo ahead of Hampson but Hardwick wouldn't.

Tonights efforts by Hampson only exacerbated our weaknesses here.
Vickery and Griffiths are barely competitive.
At this point our season will stall because of our ruck division.

We all know it, what are the watching down there. Currie or even smith from GC
Even luneburger or even a hamburger is better then we have.
Griffiths in the ruck, he wouldn't last 5 minutes before knocking himself out

The footy gods are unbuckling the belts from a great height - Ralphy has said that now Ivan is in doubt for Thursday from the same sources that ruled Lids out.

Well, I'm hardly surprised, simply because Ivan was hardly sighted in NAB games. Thought he was being saved for the real games, fine with that.
Now wondering if the club have been concealing something like it appears they might have with ... Yarran, Lids ...

Time to release the Hampster ?!

Newman? :spin

This has been coming for a long time. Management of this position has been shocking.
Time to bite the bullet this year and draft the best ruck prospect out there.

Gee lost a forward and now a tall. Pity we don't have a tall kid in the twos that can kick goals.

PS Tora I pressed quote rather than reply. Half asleep!

*cough* Brodie Grundy three years ago* cough

Yeah we've been terrible in this area.

Load up on Carlton if Hampson plays. 6 goal swing in one change.

Well if Hampson is to stand up in any game, dodgy ankles and all, then it MUST be from the first bounce of round one ... but this is more about hope than belief here so my fingers are going to be firmly crossed that somehow this lump of a fellow can somehow have a half-decent season of footy ... gulp ...

So we need a classy forward to replace Lids.

And a ruckman with minimal presence in the air but a decent ground game to replace Maric.

Bean is the perfect selection - two birds with one stone.

McBean hasn't played any serious footy to even be considered ... that said, maybe he might offer/provide more than Hampson could/will anyway.

I've accused Hamspon of many things, but playing serious footy ain't one of 'em

The planets are aligning for the Bean. Don't fight it. Cometh the hour, cometh the man.

The great Warrior Ivan was always going to be a worry this year. Hopefully just a niggle, not a sign of what's to come
Given Hampson is hopeless and Soldo raw as they come it's even more staggering we made no effort to land Zac Smith, Luenberger or even Daniel Currie during trade period. No 1st or 2nd round picks needed to do any of these deals so should have been doable.
