Ivan Maric

Thought Ivan was OK yesterday. Surprised to see Jesse Hogan in The Age gave Goldstein BOG. Reckon Maric at least broke even and competed well. Don't think he has ben comprehensively beaten in any game.

The Big Fella desperately needs a solid chop-out in the ruck.
Problem is, in my opinion, is that while Hampson has some attributes as a tap ruckman it is his inability to consistently/regularly impact on the game in any other facet of the game (particularly his marking) that generally makes him a liability.
Vickery, if he had ever found the desire and commitment to be a professional AFL footballer, would have been the perfect foil to work in tandem with Maric.
RFC needs to get itself another ruckman because Maric can't be considered a long-term option.

Can't believe we went after Hammer as Ivan's successor when big Bill Longer was available.
Ivan would have been a great mentor for him and Billy would have rucked for us for 10 yrs.
He wanted to come too.... He wanted us or Hawks originally
Fail.

I think Vickery doesn't want to be a forward. I think he wants to ruck.

Love the big lug.....very surprised we won the hit outs so well

Same here CC. Any chance we could all chip in to buy a new set of legs or hips... ;D

Phar Lap would like his heart back.

Much love for the mullet. He looks to be slowing but he never, ever, stops competing.

Much love indeed. I though he might have his work cut out up against a younger taller bigger ruckman. Showed that hes not finished as an afl ruckman just yet. I hope he does get a spell at some stage to get him through the season without running him into the ground though

Just keeps on giving his all for the cause. Love the way he has a crack at every contest. Need to manage him carefully so the Tigers get optimum output from him.

Another leader who stood up and played his best game of the season.
Favourite goal today was his in the 2nd term.
Just such clever play from McBean to CEllis with big Ivy calmly slotting it to put us in front after such a meek 1st term
