There were times, jb. There were a lot of times. I said not long before half time that if we had Lobbe and they had Maric we'd have been fifteen goals up. It was a bit of load in retrospect. Maybe eight or nine. I was calling him Tin Man.

And it's so often the case, particularly this year.

But this season he's been able to rally in the second half, asserting himself at contests, then across half back and then today forward.

In the second half that was the old iVahn - The Lion of the Tigers. Matchwinner.

Warrior is the word. If they remake "The Highlander" I'd cast Alex Rance as the lead (actually any Christopher Lambert role, he'd be a killer "Sicilian") and Ivan (..is Eevan f___'n!) Maric as The Kurgan. Who'd take the Connery role Juan Sanchez Vila-Lobos Ramirez?
